THE ORGANISATION:

THE ROLE:
  • Full-time, interim contract role initially for 9 months, January to September 2025
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory matters related to financial services, with a focus on the National Consumer Credit Protection Act requirements
  • Develop practical legal solutions that balance compliance with simplicity and operational efficiency as part of the organisation’s product and process simplification project
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate automated processes and innovative solutions while ensuring regulatory adherence and customer focus

START DATE: From January 2025

 

ABOUT YOU:
  • Qualified Lawyer: You’re a qualified lawyer with admission to practice in Australia, and you bring over 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Consumer Banking Experience: You have a demonstrated financial services background including National Consumer Credit Protection Act and consumer finance product experience.
  • Highly Organised: With excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills, you excel in fast-paced, high-energy settings.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Your maturity and autonomy empower you to juggle competing priorities and drive innovative legal solutions.
