Banking & Finance – Multiple Roles – Leading Financial Services Company – Interim

SUMMARY:

Multiple opportunities available for mid-to-senior level lawyers to join the in-house legal team of a leading financial services company. Interim contracts for 10 to 12 months to support the company’s operations across any one or more the following:

1. Consumer Banking
2. Insolvency / Restructuring
3. Structured Finance / Project Finance

With flexible location options in Sydney or Melbourne and a hybrid work environment, these opportunities are perfect for lawyers looking to transition in-house or take the next step in their career.

THE ORGANISATION:

Our client is a leading financial services company with a diverse range of products and services.

THE ROLES:

• Interim contract roles, initially for 10 to 12 months
• Flexibility to be done either in Sydney or Melbourne
• Hybrid work environment – WFH and CBD Offices
• Open to in-house lawyers looking to make their next move or private practice lawyers looking to move in-house

ABOUT YOU:

You have the qualifications – You hold a current Australian practising certificate and have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained in-house or with a reputable law firm.

You have demonstrated experience – Your background includes experience in any one of the following:

1. Consumer Banking – home loans, personal banking, electronic payments and financial services regulations experience, including financial product regulation and the National Credit Code;
2. Insolvency / Restructuring; or
3. Structured Finance / Project Finance.

You are a high-performing lawyer and eager to learn – You excel at addressing diverse legal issues with a first-principles approach. As a skilled legal professional, you will have the benefit of working alongside a team of excellent lawyers.

You get it commercially – You are focused on delivering commercially-minded and practical legal solutions. You possess the ability to manage work priorities and meet the expectations of diverse stakeholders.
