THE ROLE:

Contracts and Transactions

  • Advising on, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including:
  • Sales and customer (retail and B2B)
  • Procurement (packaging, indirect, outsourced manufacturing, services)
  • Logistics (transport, warehousing, contractor delivery)
  • Marketing (approvals, sponsorship)
  • Distribution (distribution partners and e-commerce partners)
  • General commercial and requests for tender

Training, policies, procedures, and templates

  • Training the business about legal and compliance matters and developing template agreements, policies, procedures and guidelines tailored to the business where required.
  • Start Date: by Monday, 13th Jan 2025
  • Legal Team: General Counsel and a Legal Team of 4
  • Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home
  • Days per week: Either 4 or 5 days per week, depending on experience
  • Reporting to: Head of Legal, Australia & New Zealand
  • Remuneration: $100K to $220K inc super. Commensurate with experience.

 

ABOUT YOU

You have:

  • A current Australian Legal Practicing certificate.
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience, of which 1+ years is in-house expertise
  • Experience in pharma/health/biotech is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial negotiation and drafting skills are essential.
