Litigation Lawyer – 3-month Contract

This role has arisen due to the arbitrations coinciding with lawyers taking leave. The firm is looking for a litigator to:

  • Assist with an arbitration, specifically managing and settling evidence.
  • Work within an established high-performing legal team.
  • Work proactively to identify and manage risk across the firm.
  • Be a proactive business partner at all levels throughout the organisation and support teams, assisting with decisions, providing practical advice and mitigating risk.
  • Provide legal services to optimise contractual and commercial arrangements.
  • Undertake legal research and develop and maintain legal precedents and template documents.

The contract is set to commence in 2 to 4 weeks and will last for 2-3 months.

  • You are a litigator with experience in managing and settling evidence for arbitrations.
  • You are adaptable and can step in due to coinciding arbitrations and lawyers taking leave.
  • You are comfortable operating autonomously and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • You are calm, considered, and practical with common sense.
  • You are prepared to take ownership of your work.
  • Gain experience within a leading construction and engineering law firm.
